Psalm 63

This post is inspired by the most recent passion07 podcast... (Hopefully Mr G. would'nt mind...)
At the end he read a portion from Psalm 63:1-5

1 O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
2 I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory.
3 Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.

4 I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.
5 My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you.

a summary of what he said after reading this scripture:
"we keep saying we need to shine… but there is no shining unless there is tasting, unless we are and sinking our hearts into the goodness of God. And it's when we are discovering moment by moment that He really is better than everything on this earth and that it is He who really satisfies the deepest part of us, that's when the shining is going to happen. when we are running hard after Jesus...the overflow of that will be a lot of shining in our lives for the world to see."
